AFTERCARE PRODUCTS

BEST AFTERCARE ROUTINE AFTER YOUR FACIAL
-
Avoid Touching Your Face (Day 1)
Your pores are open and vulnerable after a facial. Keep hands off to avoid introducing bacteria or causing irritation. -
Skip Makeup for 24 Hours
Allow your skin to breathe and absorb the benefits of your treatment. Applying makeup too soon can clog pores or cause breakouts. -
Avoid Heavy Sweating (24–48 Hours)
Skip the gym, saunas, and hot yoga. Sweat can irritate freshly treated skin and cause congestion or sensitivity. -
Use Gentle, Hydrating Products
Stick to mild cleansers, alcohol-free toners, and lightweight moisturizers. Avoid acids, retinols, or strong exfoliants for at least 3–5 days.
- Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate
Drink plenty of water and apply a hydrating serum or moisturizer to lock in the benefits of your facial and promote healing. -
Avoid Sun Exposure & Always Use SPF
Facial treatments can make your skin more sensitive to UV rays. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+) daily—even if you’re indoors. -
Don’t Pick or Exfoliate
Let any flakiness, dryness, or minor breakouts resolve naturally. Picking or using scrubs too soon can cause scarring or irritation. -
Follow the Home Care Plan (If Given)
Your esthetician may recommend specific products or steps—follow them for the best long-term results.
